Seit gut 17 Jahren gibt es das Trio aus Potsdam bereits. In der Besetzung Drums, Bassguitar, Guitar, Keys und Voc, werden hier stetig die Grenzen so unterschiedlicher Genres wie Punk, Jazz, Noise auf einem soliden Rockfundament ausgelotet.

Mit Wurzeln, die fest im Punk- und Hardcore-Ethos der späten 80er- und 90er-Jahre verankert sind, legt die Band Wert auf Authentizität statt Konformität. Sie haben kein Interesse daran, ihre Musik oder Texte auf eine bestimmte Zielgruppe zuzuschneiden, sondern entwickeln stattdessen eine eigene Vision, die das Gewöhnliche infrage stellt und weniger begangene Wege geht.

Im Laufe der Jahre haben The Antikaroshi insgesamt sechs Alben veröffentlicht, die alle in DIY-Manier an verschiedenen Orten – vom Ferienbungalow bis hin zum Rundfunk-Sendesaal – aufgenommen und beim herausragenden Label Exile on Mainstream (u.a. Dälek, Dyse, A Whisper in the Noise, Bulbul) veröffentlicht wurden, zuletzt Mitte 2024 ihre derzeit aktuelle Platte „L’inertie polaire“.

Fiffi & The Kids

Mit griffig süßer Leichtigkeit stellen sich Fiffi & The Kids der zeitgeistigen Oberflächlichkeit. Poppig schmunzelnd und mit fideler Melancholie schickt sich das Dresdner Quartett an, der Wirklichkeit ein Schnippchen zu schlagen.
